We left early Wednesday morning. Beautiful clouds on the way to the airport in Sacramento.
Took most of the day, but by mid-afternoon, we were checked into our oceanfront room with our Costo groceries stowed. Managed a drink and burger on the beach and collapsed into bed with the sliders open in the bedroom and living room, the waves singing their lullaby through the night until the birds take over in the morning...Lovely!
We have done serious chilling and sleeping. Think we're finally catching up and getting reeady to participate. It has been very still here, unusual, as the tradewinds always keep such a lovely breeze going. Beautiful clouds. We've really enjoyed watching them scud across the sky and changing shape.
Will try to be diligent about posting. Very lazy though!
